The other day we sat down discussing about how moms are perennially fed up of all the हरकतें and ड्रामे that we do during our childhoods. We found out that be it any place these are the typical dialogues that moms use with slight differences:
1. When fathers come searching for some xyz thing, can't find it and ask for it in frustration :
Papa: "Fridge ke upar jo pen rakhi hui thi wo kahaan gayi?"
Mummy: " arey wahin hogi.."
Papa: "arey nahi hai yaar."
Meanwhile mummy comes looking for it and cannot find it.
Mummy: "Maine to yahin rakhi thi. Ye bachchon ne kahin idhar udhar kar di hogi."
Ilzaam is invariably always on the bachchas.
2. Scene changes to sabzi market where mom has dragged us using emotional blackmails of all sorts " Mere saath kyon jaaoge ab tum bazaar, ab to bade ho gaye ho tum. Mummy ke saath jaane mein sharam aati hai.."
So here we are now loaded with sabzi of all colours and shapes. (Poore mahine ki khareed li hain, kya bharosa agli baar bachche saath mein aaye ya nahi)
Mummy: Richa zara auto bula jaldi se.
I go and talk to the autowala. Meanwhile mom comes and dumps the truckloads of sabzi in the auto.
Mummy: Bhaiya zara rukna thode aloo lene hain.
Autowala: Madam time jaata hai.
Me: Mummy ho gaya ab.. itna khareed k chain nahi aaya?
Mummy: Chup reh tu. (to autowala) bhaiya bas 2 min hi toh rukna hai.
Finally mummy wins and aloo ka bora is loaded in the auto.
On the way back mummy looks at me and says " Ye Tilak road mein gajak bade achche milte hain. Richa zara auto rukwana to "
Grrrrrr......
3. Now this is inevitable.. you cannot stop moms from doing this..
Mummy: "Itni der se dekh rahi hoon, idhar udhar idhar udhar ghoomne mein lagi hai, padhai kyon nahi kar leti hai."
Me: "abhi kar loongi na thodi der mein."
Mummy: "Neeche Ashu Arpan ko dekho, kitna kehna maante hain apni mummy ka. Ek tum ho. Meri koi baat hi nahi sunte."
Me: "unhi ko bana lo fir apne bachche.
Mummy: "Tumse to kuch kehna hi bekaar hai."
4. This is when you come back on vacations. First few days mom gets busy making good food. When a week is over things change.. 7 baje hi 9 baj jaate hain.
Its 7.00 in the morning and while you think you are blissfully asleep you hear this..
"Richaaaaaaaa uth ja. Kabtak soi rahegi? 9 baj gaye hain. Jaldi uth."
Me: "haan uth rahi hoon." (n I go back to sleep again.)
Mom enters the room shouts again.
Me: "Chii yaar mummy sone do na."
Mom: "aadha din beet gaya hai. Tum log soye pade ho. Chalo uth jaao."
While leaving the room if its summer time, mom will switch off the fan, if its winter then she will take your rajai along with her.
There are numerous other cute things about moms that always were and will be :)

heheheheh..good one..n i kno we'll enjoy doing that wit our kids without any regrets..or may b bachchas will come every moning to us n say maa uth jao office jane main latye ho jaoge...n we'll say u get ready main bas uth rahi hun..heheheheh...
